"So honestly, how could you say those things
when you know they don't mean anything
And you know very well
that I can't keep my hands to myself."

Taking Back Sunday, Bike Scene

If you could stop screaming me for one minute, maybe you'll realise that you're slowly killing me with your words.

So I'm sitting here in a long sleeved sweater with the October rain falling outside and the air-conditioner blowing softly.

My hands are cold and all I need is for someone to call and say, " I was just thinking of you." I need someone to thaw me out. Outside in. Each night I sit on the window ledge and smoke menthol cigarettes. I don't eat. I make a trip down to Starbucks and drink coffee till my hands begin to shake.

I can't wait to get to Paris in December. All those little cafes and bohemian enclaves.
